We're waiting on our first 3 cameras.....

Scenes is an AustinExperience.com experiment. Here's how it works. Several disposible cameras were left around the Austin area. Directions were left with the camera. The person who finds the camera is asked to take 1-3 pictures of items of interest around Austin. It could be a local band, a downtown event, someone getting a new tattoo, etc.

Then, they give the camera to someone else, or they leave the camera for someone else to find. Once all the film has been used, the camera is to be placed in a prestamped envelope and mailed to AustinExperience.com. We'll develop the film and post the pictures on our site. Check back in the next few weeks to see what has developed.

But, you don't have to wait to find our cameras to help. If you've got interesting shots of Austin scenes, send your JPEGs to scenes@austinexperience.com or mail actual photos to:
