Austin 360: Austin 360 is the web version of the Austin American Statesman. This site is good for checking out local news, local movie schedules, etc.
The Austin Chronicle: This site is the online version of the local free paper. You can use it to check out band listings and reviews among other things. It may not be as useful as some of the other sites, but it makes for interesting reading.
Austin City Connection: The official website of the City of Austin. You can find information about the airport, local city-sponsored concerts, maps, etc.
Austin Citysearch: This site supposedly lets you know about local events. The primary focus of this site seems to be advertising for local merchants.
