So you-ve seen the clips of South by Southwest on your Direct Star TV and you-ve heard about the great bar scene in Austin but did you know the coolest city in the Lone Star state has a great food scene as well? Here are a few of our favorite eats in Austin that won-t break the bank
Stony-s: It-s right in downtown and it-s got some of the best pizza in the south ” what more could you ask for? Get two slices for around 5 and take in some of the best people watching in the city, too.
Kebabalicious: What-s better than an incredibly cheap, unique concept joint? This Turkish place has all the usual suspects but their lamb kebabs are what keep people coming back. You can smll them a mile away but remember to bring cash.
ChilAlantro BBQ: If you like Texas BBQ get out your bib and try some of this southwestern tinged fare. It-s cheap and delicious and if you-re looking for a filling meal, you-ve come to the right place. The pulled pork with sauce is our favorite.
